Brite Lake Recreation District  off Banducci Road 661-822-3228
Located in Brite Valley and also known as Jacobsen Lake, this facility offers picnic sites for day use and campsites for overnighters. There are 90 spaces available, 12 with electricity and water, and a dump station. Pavilions are available, by reservation, for large group functions. Fishing, in season, allows for a limit of 5 trout and 10 catfish per person per day. Brite Lake is owned by the Tehachapi Cummings Water District and operated by the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District.


Indian Hill Ranch Campground Arosa Road 661-822-6613
Nestled in the oaks and open year round, this 400 acre privately owned campground offers many amenities: 5 stocked ponds for fishing (no license required), pole rentals, hiking and bike trail and bike rentals, a 60 target archery range, horse trails and corrals, hot showers, RV dump stations, recreation areas, a General Store with laundry area and RV and camping supplies. Catering is available for any size group or party.


Mountain Valley Park Highline Road 661-822-1213
Located adjacent to the Mountain Valley Airport, the park is open year round. There are 27 spaces available, all with water, electricity, and tables. Also available are laundry facilities, hot showers, and dump stations. Pets on leashes are OK. The Airport offers glider rides, and The Raven's Nest restaurant features fresh made breakfast and lunch fare.


Tehachapi Mountain Park Southwest of Tehachapi - 8 Miles 661-822-4632
In this Land of Four Seasons, elevations range from 5500 to 7000 feet, and the forests and natural spring water sustain a variety of wildlife. There are campsites throughout the Park (some with corrals) with picnic tables, BBQ grills, pit toilets, and water. Mountain Camp has 10 cabins for groups (min. 40 people) with bunk beds, electricity, and heating; a Cook's cabin with shower and toilet facilities; and a full service kitchen/dining hall. Call for reservations.
